He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1985. David was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1986 and has specialized his practice to civil litigation since 1987.

David’s practice is focused on complex commercial and corporate litigation. He has extensive trial experience and regularly appears in both the British Columbia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. He has represented a diverse range of clients in commercial arbitration matters. David has developed considerable experience in the prosecution of professional negligence claims, insurance claims, shareholder disputes and complex contract and negligence issues. He has a strong academic background, coupled with a practical, result-oriented approach to dispute resolution.

David is a former member of the Advocates Club and served for two years as an executive of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. He remains an active member of the association. He has presented papers on civil litigation and tort law at Continuing Legal Education seminars and has been published in the Trial Lawyers magazine, The Verdict.

David regularly represents other lawyers, doctors and a variety of senior business professionals. His client base includes small and medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs involved in complex and important commercial disputes. His practice has always included representation of individuals requiring a passionate, committed advocate to advance their positions in complicated disputes.

David continues to volunteer his time and professional services to the Lawyers Assistance Program and to provide pro-bono assistance in appropriate cases.
